Terms and Conditions of Use
Load Link Freight – Load Matching Platform
Effective date: 13.10.2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Load Link Freight website, mobile application and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”).
1.2. The Platform is operated by Load Link Freight (“we”, “us” or “our”).
1.3. By registering for an account, accessing the Platform, uploading a load, accepting a load or communicating with another user through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.4. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Platform.
1.5. These Terms apply to all users, including businesses, consignors, customers, transport companies, independent carriers, hauliers, drivers and other registered users.
1.6. Users are responsible for ensuring that anyone using the Platform on their behalf is aware of and complies with these Terms.
2. Nature of the Platform
2.1. The Platform provides a digital service intended to connect businesses or other users requiring goods to be transported (“Load Owners”) with independent carriers or transport providers (“Carriers”) who may be willing to undertake those deliveries.
2.2. Load Owners may upload details of available loads, including collection and delivery locations, goods descriptions, timings, pricing proposals and other relevant information.
2.3. Carriers may review available loads, express an interest, accept or propose terms for a delivery, and communicate directly with the relevant Load Owner to arrange the transport.
2.4. Our role is limited to providing a platform for introductions, load listings and communications between users. Unless expressly agreed in a separate written contract, we do not undertake the carriage of goods, employ or appoint drivers to perform deliveries, act as the Carrier, or enter into the underlying transport contract on behalf of either party.
2.5. We are not a party to any transport, carriage, sale, payment or other commercial agreement entered into directly between a Load Owner and a Carrier.
2.6. The contract for any delivery is between the relevant Load Owner and Carrier. Those parties are solely responsible for agreeing its terms, fulfilling their obligations and resolving disputes arising from it.
2.7. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency relationship or other association between us and any user, beyond the provision of the Platform services expressly described here.
2.8. We do not guarantee that a listed load will be accepted, that a Carrier will be available, or that any introduction will result in a completed transaction.
3. No Responsibility for Transport Services
3.1. We do not transport, collect, load, unload, store, handle or deliver goods and do not take possession or custody of goods through the operation of the Platform.
3.2. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any Load Owner, Carrier, driver, subcontractor, employee or other third party using or connected with the Platform.
3.3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no responsibility for:
a. Failure to collect or deliver goods;
b. Late collections, late deliveries, missed appointments or delays;
c. Lost, stolen, missing, damaged, contaminated or destroyed goods;
d. Incorrect, incomplete or misleading load descriptions or delivery instructions;
e. Damage to premises, roads, loading facilities, vehicles, trailers, equipment or other property;
f. Personal injury, accidents or other incidents arising from the collection, loading, transport, unloading or delivery of goods, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
g. A Carrier's failure to provide suitable vehicles, equipment, drivers, licences, permits or insurance;
h. A Load Owner's failure to provide accurate information, suitable loading facilities, access or correctly prepared goods;
i. Failed collections, refused loads, cancellations, abandoned deliveries or contractual breaches between users;
j. Losses arising from fraud, scams, impersonation, false identities or dishonest conduct by users or third parties, subject to any legal responsibilities that cannot be excluded;
k. Business interruption, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of customers, loss of contracts or other indirect or consequential losses, where exclusion is permitted by law.
3.4. Each Load Owner and Carrier is responsible for conducting appropriate checks, obtaining relevant information and deciding whether to proceed with a transaction.
3.5. We do not guarantee that any user will perform their obligations honestly, competently, safely, lawfully or on time.
4. Independent Status of Carriers
4.1. Carriers use the Platform as independent businesses or service providers.
4.2. Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, Carriers are not our employees, workers, agents or representatives and have no authority to enter into contracts or incur liabilities on our behalf.
4.3. Carriers are solely responsible for:
a. Their vehicles, drivers, staff, subcontractors and equipment;
b. Maintaining all legally required licences, operator authorisations, permits and qualifications;
c. Complying with applicable transport, road safety, employment, health and safety and other relevant laws;
d. Maintaining appropriate motor, public liability, goods-in-transit and other insurance required by law, contract or the nature of their work;
e. The collection, loading, securing, carriage, unloading and delivery of goods;
f. Any loss, damage, injury, accident, fine, penalty or claim arising from their operations, subject to applicable law;
g. Any subcontracting arrangements and the conduct of their subcontractors.
4.4. We do not direct or control the manner in which a Carrier performs a delivery. Carriers remain responsible for deciding whether they are appropriately equipped and qualified to undertake each job.
4.5. Listing a Carrier on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation or guarantee of that Carrier's suitability or reliability.
5. Load Owner Responsibilities
5.1. Load Owners are responsible for ensuring that all load information submitted to the Platform is accurate, complete, lawful and up to date.
5.2. Load Owners must provide appropriate information regarding the goods, including their nature, quantity, dimensions, weight, handling requirements, collection and delivery addresses, access restrictions and any special risks.
5.3. Load Owners are responsible for ensuring that goods are lawfully owned or held with appropriate authority, properly packaged and ready for transport.
5.4. Load Owners must disclose dangerous, hazardous, restricted, fragile, high-value or otherwise specially regulated goods before a Carrier agrees to undertake the delivery.
5.5. Load Owners are responsible for agreeing payment amounts, payment dates, delivery requirements, cancellation terms and any additional contractual conditions directly with the Carrier.
5.6. Load Owners must not upload fraudulent, unlawful, misleading or fictitious loads or use the Platform to facilitate criminal activity.
5.7. Load Owners remain responsible for paying Carriers in accordance with their direct agreements, regardless of whether a payment has been disputed, delayed or withheld, except where a lawful contractual defence applies.
6. No Payment Processing or Payment Guarantee
6.1. The Platform does not collect, hold, transfer, process or guarantee payments between Load Owners and Carriers, unless we expressly introduce a separate payment service under additional written terms.
6.2. All payments for transport services must be arranged directly between the relevant Load Owner and Carrier, outside the Platform.
6.3. We are not responsible for:
a. Non-payment, late payment or partial payment;
b. Invoices, credit terms, deposits, refunds or chargebacks between users;
c. A user's insolvency, financial difficulties or refusal to pay;
d. False payment confirmations, fraudulent bank details or payment scams;
e. Disputes about agreed rates, additional charges, waiting time or cancellation fees;
f. Any losses arising from a user transferring money to another user.
6.4. Users must independently verify bank details, payment instructions, invoice information and the identity of the intended recipient before making a payment.
6.5. Users must not assume that an introduction, message, load acceptance or profile on the Platform provides a payment guarantee.
6.6. Any debt recovery, payment claim or dispute relating to a delivery must be pursued directly against the party responsible for payment.
7. Scams, Fraud and User Verification
7.1. We may implement registration procedures, account checks, reporting tools or other security measures. However, these measures do not guarantee a user's identity, legitimacy, solvency, honesty, financial standing or ability to perform a contract.
7.2. We do not warrant that all users have been independently verified or that all information supplied by users is genuine, accurate or complete.
7.3. Users are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence before accepting a load, sharing sensitive information, entering into a contract or making a payment.
7.4. Users should independently verify company details, relevant transport authorisations, insurance documentation, contact details and bank account information where appropriate.
7.5. Users must promptly report suspected fraud, impersonation, suspicious activity or security breaches to us.
7.6. We may, where reasonably necessary and lawful, investigate reports, restrict access to accounts, remove listings, suspend users or provide relevant information to law enforcement or other competent authorities.
7.7. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by fraudulent or dishonest conduct of users or third parties, except where such losses result from our own liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Delivery Disputes and Claims
8.1. Any dispute concerning a transport agreement must be resolved directly between the Load Owner and Carrier.
8.2. This includes disputes involving:
a. Delivery performance or missed deadlines;

c. Goods lost, damaged, delayed or incorrectly delivered;
d. Vehicle or property damage;
e. Loading, unloading, waiting time or cancellation charges;
f. Insurance, compensation, indemnity or contractual breaches.
8.3. Users are responsible for retaining relevant evidence, including contracts, messages, delivery records, photographs, invoices, proof of collection, proof of delivery and inspection reports.
8.4. We have no obligation to investigate, mediate, adjudicate or resolve disputes between users.
8.5. We may, at our discretion, provide reasonable assistance with communications or refer users to relevant information. Any such assistance does not make us a party to the dispute or create a duty to determine liability.
8.6. Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising any legal right they may have against another user or us.
9. Insurance and Responsibility for Goods
9.1. Carriers are responsible for determining and maintaining the insurance required for their activities and the loads they agree to carry.
9.2. Load Owners are responsible for determining whether their own goods, business operations and contractual arrangements require additional insurance.
9.3. We do not provide goods-in-transit insurance, carrier liability insurance, motor insurance, public liability insurance or any other insurance for users or their goods.
9.4. We do not assess, approve or guarantee the adequacy of any user's insurance policy unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
9.5. Users must agree directly who is responsible for loss, damage, excesses, claims notifications and any uninsured amounts before the transport contract is performed.
9.6. The existence of insurance documentation on a user profile, if applicable, does not guarantee that a policy is valid, sufficient or applicable to a particular delivery.
10. User Accounts and Acceptable Use
10.1. Users must provide truthful registration information and keep their account details accurate and up to date.
10.2. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for activity carried out through their accounts, subject to applicable law.

h. Use the Platform to distribute unlawful, defamatory or infringing material;
i. Circumvent security measures or misuse another user's confidential information.
10.4. We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that a user has breached these Terms, poses a security or fraud risk, or is using the Platform unlawfully.
10.5. Where reasonably practicable and lawful, we may provide notice of suspension or termination. We may act immediately where necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, preserve security or comply with legal obligations.
11. Platform Availability and Technical Limitations
11.1. We aim to provide a functional and accessible Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous availability.
11.2. The Platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, third-party service interruptions, cyber incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11.3. We do not guarantee that messages, notifications, load listings or other information will always be delivered, displayed or updated without delay.
11.4. Users are responsible for maintaining their own records and confirming important arrangements directly with the other contracting party.
11.5. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from temporary outages, communication failures, data transmission delays or technical errors.
12. Limitation of Our Liability
12.1. The Platform is provided to facilitate connections and communications between users. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not provide the underlying transport service.

12.4. Where legally permissible, our total aggregate liability to a business user arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by that user to us for use of the Platform during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.5. If the user has paid no fees to us during that period, any applicable financial cap shall be the minimum amount permitted by applicable law, subject to the restrictions on liability exclusions and limitations set out in this section.
12.6. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13.3. We will, where reasonably practicable, notify the relevant user of a claim for which an indemnity is sought and provide reasonable information necessary to address it.
14. Information and User Content
14.1. Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of all information, listings, messages, documents and other content they submit to the Platform.
14.2. We do not independently verify every load listing, message, profile, document or representation made by users.
14.3. We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, infringes rights, creates a security risk or is unlawful.
14.4. Users grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and use content they submit only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve the Platform and provide the relevant services, subject to applicable data protection law.

17.3. Users may stop using the Platform at any time, subject to any outstanding obligations under agreements they have entered into directly with other users.

17.5. We may update these Terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users before it takes effect, where appropriate and legally required.
17.6. The updated Terms will state their effective date. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law. Where affirmative consent is legally required, we will seek it.
